Kino Bay is an easy 230 mile drive from the U.S. border in Nogales, Arizona.  It's 60 miles west of the metropolitan city of Hermosillo which is the capital of Sonora, Mexico. Upon arriving in this unassuming fishing village, you'll discover a solitude in this oasis where the desert meets the sea. Bahia Kino is Spanish for Kino Bay and is named after Padre Kino.

Bask in the sun.  Play in the sand and on  the beach.  Search for seashells.  Fish from the beach or by boat.  Bird watch. Swim.  Dig for clams.  Jump on a jet ski. Take a deep sea fishing expedition or simply relax on a boat ride.  Hone your bargaining skills and have fun haggling with local vendors for Mexican crafts. Enjoy spectacular sunsets from your balcony.
